Professor Julius Sumner Miller was a physicist best known for his TV series “Why Is It So?” which ran in the 1950s and 1960s in the US and eventually Canada as well. He spoke 12 languages, was a Ford Foundation Fellow, and really enjoyed bringing science to life for kids. We need more crazy-haired old science teachers like him.
