Fallingwater. Taliesen. The Guggenheim. And–a gas station in Cloquet, Minnesota. It was part of an entire city he designed called Broadacre, but the gas station was the only part of the project that was actually built. Wright did design one other gas station in Buffalo Niagara for the Buffalo Oil Company, but it wasn’t built until after his death–plus it was only built as an exhibit. But the one in Cloquet is an actual working service station.
